July 2009

“Likewise standing out:  “Love Grows Naturally” by Westwood’s David M. King, who sings, plays guitar and spends his days working in Oakland’s Carnegie Library.  He offers a charming, country feeling enhanced by the violin playing of classically trained Gil Bigenho, Jr.  Bigenho’s own “Whisper” has a subtle and satisfying hint of Mexican music.  The Whitehall resident teaches general music for Pittsburgh Public Schools among other gigs.”

Excerpt from:  Gordon Spencer,  review of Pittsburgh Songwriters Circle, Vol. IV CD in “Pittsburgh Magazine,” July 2009, p. 95.

  1. Wow, a “charming country feeling”.
